Identifying and Working with a Kinesthetic
TO TOUCH IS TO KNOW!
Keep in mind, the Kinesthetic wants you to use touchy feely words such as:
- Feel
- Touch Base
- Handle
- Grab
When you begin talking to a Kinesthetic, ask them "what do you feel you'd like to accomplish from this meeting or get together?" Not "what do you WANT!"
When communicating with a kinesthetic - when using words such as - I feel you will like this sample or what do you feel about the sample - the kinesthetic will begin to mentally process your information from their point of view. When the kinesthetic can mentally touch your object and feel your ideas you have got them.
If you are trying to develop a personal relationship with a Kinesthetic you must let them feel your vibes and touch their hand.
THAT IS WHY I ALWAYS SHAKE HANDS WITH EVERYONE I MEET, JUST IN CASE THEY ARE A KINESTHETIC.

THEY DON'T SEE YOUR PICTURESTHEY DON'T HEAR YOUR SOUNDS THEY FEEL YOUR EMOTIONS.
Remember our visual that gave you their view on the situation? Or the auditory that said, "that sounds great to me."
When you hear the words, "Let me touch base with you later", "I need to get a handle on it", "Man, how does that grab you?", "That guy sure rubs me the wrong way", "I need to share with you how I feel about what is happening".
GUESS WHO YOU ARE TALKING TOO? A KINESTHETIC.
Kinesthetics think differently.
1. Move on if you haven't built a rapport with a kinesthetic in the first 4 minutes of your conversation; you are way behind their eight ball.
2. They are frequently pausing during your conversation. They are trying to get a feeling by asking themselves the question how do I feel about this person/situation.
3. They want to feel you- touching you gives their internal antenna the information they need to see and hear you.
4. When you visit their business or home always graciously accept their hospitality. This is making them feel good about making you feel good.

TOUCHY - FEELIES
When you are communicating with a Touchy - Feelie (a Kinesthetic) you had better leave all of your fears, personal problems and negative emotions outside the door!
Your happy smiling face must be honest. You can't get away with "Smiling on the Outside - Crying on the Inside". WHY: Kinesthetics do everything on the basis of how they "FEEL" when they are around you.
EYES RIGHT AND DOWN is the only way a kinesthetic moves their eyes when processing.
Albert Einstein was one. When asked about his theories his eyes moved down and to the right. He developed the theory of relativity in about 2 hours. He imagined what it FELT like to be riding a lightning bolt through the universe.
