IDENTIFYING AND WORKING WITH AN AUDITORY
DO THEY HEAR WHAT YOU SEE?
When you are talking to someone you don't know or want to know better, watch his or her hand and eye movements. The eyes of an Auditory move to side right, side left and down left. They also touch their face somewhere as a gesture that to them turns up their hearing aid.
AUDITORY HAVE SENSITIVE EARS!
In the hypnosis world there is a place of darkness behind the voice. Auditory go there easily. It is where they process what you are saying to them. Just the slightest change in your tonal inflection will shut them off.
While visuals speak very quickly the auditory speaks slowly and rhythmically- they are conscious of every word.
Tonal Auditory usually look directly down and to the left, as they mumble to themselves. WHY, because they are having a conversation with themselves, converting the information you are presenting to them in a form an auditory can understand and respond too. So give the auditory time to process. If you don't they won't hear you until they are finished talking to themselves.

DO YOU HEAR WHAT THEY HEAR?
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the characteristics of the person whose primary mode of processing information starts in their ears.
This type of person hears the sound of your voice (pitch, pacing) rather than listens to the content. Remember INTONATION -- INTONATION is the key with an auditory.
The neat part about dealing with an auditory is you can work with them by telephone. If you have a friend or business associate who is always on the phone they most likely are Auditory. All auditory have this mad passionate affair with the telephone!!!!
