 FEAR OF SUCCESS CHARACTERISTICS

 1.     You feel you are unworthy of achieving anything.

2.     You know that Success brings extra hours of work - cutting out your leisure time.

3.     Once you have made a commitment - short or long term - you are afraid of being held responsible for achieving the commitment and delivering the goods on time.

4.     Are you the great imposter? Afraid you can’t cut the mustard? Do you think people believe you are better than you think you are?

POSSIBLE SUBCONSCIOUS BELIEFS CONCERNING YOUR SUCCESS?

  1.     You don’t deserve to be successful?

2.     You shouldn’t rise about your present station in life.

3.     You believe you should draw people to you who reject you.

4.     You are a failure - have been and always will be?

 THE BURNING QUESTION IS?

Are you unwilling to become a W.I.T. (a person who does whatever it takes) or you really don’t have the abilities, training or education to accomplish your goals.

FEAR OF SUCCESS; brings with it many excuses. Have you noticed that you will find yourself rationalizing all of your failures or lack of successes? Using those rationalizations as the foundation for why you failed.

LIST THE RATIONALIZATIONS YOU USED WHEN YOUR LAST PROJECT/RELATIONSHIP STARTED GOING BACKWARDS, FAILED OR DIDN’T COME UP TO YOUR EXPECTATIONS:

What part did your fear of rejection play in your overall behavior? How afraid were you of disturbing the status quo of your life?

Were you always chasing the rainbow, when you didn’t catch it, thinking to yourself, everyone else has all the luck.

DON’T FORGET YOU AND YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS BELIEFS ARE CONNECTED AT THE HIP.

After you have listed all of your rationalizations, reread each one.  Now, close your eyes, letting your mind wonder back to WHY you really blew it. Rethinking the situation, do you see a pattern? What actions do you think you would you have taken, if you had subconsciously and consciously believed you could accomplish the task or goal with Speed, Ease, Comfort and Joy, at the time you were trying to accomplish it?

THINK ON THIS

On one hand, the money you spend on self-help seminars and personal growth sessions to refine your Life’s Skills, is well spent. On the other hand - until you have reprogrammed your subconscious mind’s belief that you deserve to be successful, you aren’t afraid of rejection or whatever it believes - you are setting yourself up for MAJOR INTERNAL CONFLICT and MORE FAILURES.

THE LONG WAY TO SUCCESSFULLY REPROGRAMMING YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.

  1.     Start paying attention to who and what triggers your fear of success. As you begin to identify your sabotaging patterns, write them down. Do this for several weeks, to understand your thought patterns and what pushes off task.

2.     Each time you begin to your go backwards, listen to your “Inner Voice” telling you, “why try, you know you are a failure”.  Ask yourself - what is your pay-off. What do you get for not trying? Why do you feel better when you don’t move forward?

As you begin to understand what makes you afraid of success, you can begin to change your subconscious beliefs.

YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS STATEMENT OF FACT SHOULD BE!

I NOW TRULY BELIEVE I CAN BE AND NOW AM SUCCESSFUL IN ALL OF MY PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS AND RELATIONSHIPS. I ATTAIN, MAINTAIN AND EXPAND THIS BELIEF SUBCONSCIOUSLY, CONSCIOUSLY, PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUAL  WITH SPEED, EASE, COMFORT AND JOY.
