Are you afraid of being broke or not having enough?

   Answer Yes or No to each question:

  1. I am in over my head - financially.
  2. My family depends on me to make their world financially secure.
  3. If I don't receive a paycheck for 2 weeks, I won't know what to do.
  4. I pretend to my family everything is all right - while at night I am lying awake afraid of what tomorrow will bring.
  5. The "what ifs" are eating my lunch - I worry about losing our home, business or job even though I know that isn't a strong possibility.
  6. When I have upset my supervisor and received a reprimand, or if I am in business for myself and have lost a sale - I go into a panic about losing my job or being able to generate enough income for my family.
  7. My family, in-laws and / or partner are giving me problems about my financial situation.
  8. I have enough money in the bank to cover my monthly expenses. When I can't pay my bills, I think that people can just feel how up tight I am about money.
  9. I am afraid if I don't get my act together, I will have to find a new job or close my business.

 Most of us at one time or another in our life has been in a financial “make it or break it” situation. Your only option was to win, make that sale or continue your downward spiral - to becoming broker.

 WHAT YOU DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO SENSE

 Just how afraid you are that you aren’t going to accomplish the goal, you need from the meetings you will be in over the next few days or months. 

People always sense any type of emotional desperation. They are also very good in observing, when someone they are talking with is running scared. Perhaps, you can’t hold eye contact, your hands are perspiring, and you are jumping from one subject to the next trying to connect with the person you are talking too.


 LIST OF FEAR OF BEING BROKE CHARACTERISTICS

 1.     You are perspiring profusely.

2.     Won’t make direct eye contact. (If you are talking with a Native American, not making direct eye contact is appropriate.)

3.     Talking to fast or to slow.

4.     You are trying to hard - not letting the other person absorb what you are saying before you jump to the next subject.

Awareness is the key to change. Once you have listed your personal Fear of Being Broke characteristics, you can begin to change them.


POSSIBLE SUBCONSCIOUS FEAR OF BEING BROKE BELIEFS 

1.     I am afraid of being rejected.

2.     I am really a fake - people will find out.

3.     I am headed into bankruptcy.

4.     I don’t want to lose my possessions; they are the symbol of my past successes.


 FEAR THE GREAT MOTIVATOR

 People, who are afraid of going broke, are driven by fear. Not by positive thoughts. Their “Inner Voice” keeps beating them with - If I don’t make this personal contact or sale, my life is about to be over, I am going to lose my family, I am a loser.

 What happens to the person who is afraid of going broke? They run harder and harder. The harder they run the faster they lose or chase away what they want.

 CREATING POINTS OF REFERENCE LIST

 To help the Fear of Being Broke personality over come that fear, they must begin to dwell only on their Financial Successes. Writing down their financial successes - no matter how big or small, reading it daily. This begins to re-affirm, You have always made it before, with enough money and you’ll do it today with speed, ease, comfort and joy.

YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS STATEMENT OF FACT SHOULD BE! 

 I now truly believe I can be and now am financially secure. I am secure in my ability to subconsciously, consciously, spiritually and physically attain, maintain and expand my financially security goals with speed, ease, comfort and joy.
